Processing of personal data in third countries (outside the EU) by YouTube and Google

According to the Court of Justice of the European Union, the US has a lower level of data protection than in the EU. The reason behind this judgment is that personal data could be processed by US authorities for control or monitoring purposes without the possibility to appeal to the same extent provided by EU standards.

For user behavior tracking, we use the Matomo tool with IP anonymization (i.e. the last three digits of your IP address are masked and not not passed on to third parties) by default to comply with privacy laws.
