As of 1 April 2023, SAMSON has a new executive support office for corporate communications, which reports directly to the CEO, Dr. Andreas Widl, as part of the realignment of its communications strategy.

Ms. Alia Begisheva was appointed as head of the new executive support office. Ms. Begisheva is responsible for implementing the multimedia strategy of SAMSON on internal and external communication channels. In her new role, she will also act as press officer.

Ms. Begisheva has many years' experience in journalism and corporate communications. She also brings excellent intercultural communication skills to the job. In her last position, she worked in corporate communications at the German KfW Development Bank. After serving as deputy press officer, Ms. Begisheva worked as editor-in-chief in charge of KfW Stories, the central communications platform of the banking group. Ms. Begisheva has a degree in economics from Mainz University and completed the journalism program at the acclaimed Henri-Nannen-Schule school of journalism in Hamburg, Germany.

The strategic realignment of its corporate communications is one of various steps being taken by SAMSON to advance its organization as it expands from a traditional medium-sized business into an international industrial enterprise. It marks SAMSON's response to the growing need to communicate with its stakeholders and its increased media presence.

Dr. Andreas Widl, CEO of SAMSON AKTIENGESELLSCHAFT, explains: "Our company has experienced considerable growth all across the world over the past few years. This expansion makes it all the more important for us to coordinate communication within our organization and satisfy the demand for information placed on us by our customers and other stakeholders. We have also launched a series of innovation projects, which positively support the public image of SAMSON and strengthen our position in the market. The MainChange relocation project, which is the largest venture ever in our company's history, is one of the most substantial privately funded investments in the German industrial manufacturing sector. This lighthouse project serves as a model for sustainable growth, competitive manufacturing and workplaces of the future. This is why we have decided to professionalize our corporate communication and look forward to working with Ms. Alia Begisheva."

About SAMSON

SAMSON AKTIENGESELLSCHAFT, headquartered in Frankfurt am Main, serves the global process engineering industry market with its products, systems and digital solutions to control all kinds of media. Its global focus markets include chemicals and petrochemicals, pharmaceuticals, energy and energy distribution as well as applications for hydrogen and industrial gases. The SAMSON Group employs 4500 staff members and manufactures at 17 sites in nine different countries.

Due to the restricted expansion potential at the current site in Frankfurt's east end where SAMSON has been located for over 100 years, the company is planning to relocate its headquarters and its 2000-strong workforce. The move to Offenbach am Main, which includes the relocation of the entire factory, is scheduled for completion by the end of 2026. The MainChange relocation project is the largest innovation venture ever in the 116-year-long history of SAMSON. An ultramodern state-of-the-art factory in the city will be built on the 14.3 ha plot of land in Offenbach.
