Blasting and Coating Technology

Corrosion affects virtually all metallic materials and is influenced by many complex factors.

Effective corrosion protection requires an understanding of these influencing factors and the development of an optimal strategy that takes into account the respective technical, environmental, and economic requirements.

Today, this typically involves combining different processes and coating systems.

As coating specialists for metals and other materials, we optimize our processes according to the latest requirements and standards and have them continuously monitored by our in-house coating inspector, who holds a FROSIO Certificate Level III.

In the field of surface treatment, we offer not only the final coating of the semi-finished and finished products you supply, but also their customized pretreatment.

This enables us to produce high-quality, durable, and visually appealing coatings that not only protect the respective surface but also enhance its functionality and durability.

Depending on the surface condition and requirements of your products, they are prepared as needed, for example, through dry ice blasting or various other sandblasting methods.

We blast stainless steel parts by grade using a special stainless steel abrasive to avoid ferritic contamination and to produce a finish that meets your expectations.

Upon request, we can fill and grind the components to create high-quality surfaces.

Possible procedures:

  • Dry-ice blasting to clean parts up to 3 m long, 2 m wide, 2 m high and weighing up to 2 t
  • Blasting of steel up to 10 m long, 2,5 m wide, 2,5 m high and weighting up to 10 t
  • Blasting of stainless steel up to 3 m long, 2,5 m wide, 2 m high and weighting up to 2 t
  • Wet paint coatings applied to parts up to10 m long, 2,5 m wide, 2,5 m high and weighting up to 10 t
  • Quality control and inspections in accordance with national and international standards, in collaboration with and supported by a FROSIO Level III Inspector
  • Quick color preparation of approximately 30,000 shades using our fully automated color-mixing system
