SUSTAINABLE SOURCING

OUR GUIDELINES

In our role as system supplier for plant engineering and the process industry in general, we regard sustainability as essential for our purchasing strategy. As an international company, we bear the responsibility for systematically incorporating environmental and social principles into our procurement processes. Our objective is not merely to promote sustainable development throughout the supply chain, but to actively influence it as well. Our guidelines regulate sustainable sourcing taking the corresponding work instructions into account. This document also defines the corresponding actions and targets.

These guidelines on sustainable sourcing define the binding rules and requirements for all purchasing activities at SAMSON AG. Our objective is to systematically incorporate environmental, social and governance (ESG) principles into our purchasing processes. We aim to identify and mitigate risks within the supply chain and eliminate them in the long term.

This document serves as a binding general framework during the decision-making process for supplier selection, drafting contracts and working together with business partners.

The contents of these guidelines follow international standards and legal requirements.

By implementing these guidelines, SAMSON aims to promote transparency, integrity and sustainability across the entire supply chain and to proactively meet both regulatory and social expectations.

With the publication of these guidelines, SAMSON AG is committed to implementing sustainable sourcing practices, which support environmental and social responsibility across the entire supply chain. The guidelines are tailored to day-to-day business operations and specific activities to ensure that they can be implemented.

SAMSON regulates and steers sustainable sourcing across the entire supply chain. It starts with the supplier qualification, continues with the supplier assessment process to approve suppliers and ends with ensuring compliance with regulatory and corporate requirements.
