SAMSON, a leading global supplier of valves, actuators and intelligent flow control systems, has signed the sales agreement for the second land parcel at its industrial site in Frankfurt am Main. The buyer is the real estate company Tishman Speyer, one of the world’s leading international developers, owners, operators and asset managers of prime real estate, with more than 35 years of activity in Germany. The land sold in this deal, approximately 75,000 square meters, will be used for industry, commerce, and data centers in the future.
With this deal, SAMSON has now completed the planned sale of the parcels available at its Frankfurt site. In early April, around 50,000 square meters of land and buildings were sold to the transmission network operator TenneT, which will use the space to expand its network in the Rhine-Main area and bolster power supply stability.
The sale of the site in Frankfurt's East harbour district is part of SAMSON’s strategic realignment. To ensure continued profitable growth, the global mid-sized industrial company decided in 2021 to relocate its headquarters and largest production site to Offenbach, on the opposite bank of the Main River. Construction for the "MainChange" project, the largest investment and innovation project in the 117-year-old company's history, began in mid-2023 and is expected to be completed by the end of 2026. The Rolf Sandvoss Innovation Center, a R&D center built in 2017, will remain in Frankfurt am Main.

The sales contract was notarized on April 29, 2024. The transfer of the land will take place gradually as SAMSON's business units move to Offenbach am Main.
