SAMSON AKTIENGESELLSCHAFT Committed to Operations in Germany and Rhine-Main Region

SAMSON, the valve and automation specialist headquartered in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, reaffirms its commitment to progress. During the company’s International Sales Meeting, the CEO of SAMSON AKTIENGESELLSCHAFT, Dr. Andreas Widl, described the way forward: “We are getting ready to make the biggest investment in the history of our company to achieve three specific goals: establish an optimal operational value stream, create an optimal meeting point for staff and customers alike, and leave an optimal ecological footprint with our construction, production and SAMSON products.” SAMSON, which was founded 115 years ago, currently has 60 subsidiaries and 17 production sites worldwide. New facilities are being built in Germany and other parts of the world. Nonetheless, SAMSON is not only spending money on brick and mortar. Andreas Widl also emphasized how SAMSON is investing in creating modern work environments and boosting technologies of the future. Such investments particularly benefit the energy transition, specifically green hydrogen. “By taking a new approach to production workplace design and keeping a clear focus on new technologies, we tackle today’s challenges, such as digital transformation, new work, a circular economy in times of energy transition, the resourcefriendly use of materials as well as reliability and safety.”

According to Andreas Widl, SAMSON continues to rely on Germany and the Rhine-Main region as the strategic base of its largest sites. This commitment to Germany as a center of industry is underlined by the company’s decision taken in early 2021 to relocate its headquarters. The heart of SAMSON’s operations will be moved from a plot in Frankfurt’s east end – disconnected and dissected by public roads – to an integral piece of land in Offenbach’s innovations park where 143,000 m² offer sufficient room and space: for Andreas Widl a worthwhile investment for tomorrow and the future growth of SAMSON. Details on the relocation to the opposite banks of the river Main as part of the MainChange project will be presented to the public for the first time during the ACHEMA trade show to be held in Frankfurt from 22 to 26 August 2022.
