Offenbach am Main, 28 January 2026 – For the very first time, SAMSON will adopt the role as sponsor in the Entrepreneur Award for the German federal state of Hesse.

For over 20 years, successful company startups in the state of Hesse have been honored with this award. The award helps extend the reach of newly founded enterprises and introduce them to the regional business network.

Under the patronage of Dr. Dominic Deller, SAMSON's Chief Financial Officer, SAMSON has joined more than 20 other sponsors supporting entrepreneurs in the region. With its involvement, SAMSON is doing its part to boost innovation and competitiveness in the region.

Dr. Dominic Deller explained: "The next generation of entrepreneurs bring innovations to the market and help strengthen the regional economy in the long run. The Entrepreneur Award for the federal state of Hesse showcases the enormous potential for future innovations in our region. We are particularly pleased that the award ceremony will take place in Offenbach this year. As part of the MainChange project, the largest innovation venture ever undertaken in our 120 year history, we are relocating our headquarters to Offenbach, demonstrating our long-term commitment to the region. We want to encourage local innovators to show a similar dedication to the region."

This year's competition was launched on 28 January at Offenbach Sparkasse, the regional public bank. Stefanie Roth and Dominik Biste from the executive board of Offenbach Sparkasse welcomed the participants. In his welcoming speech, Dr. Felix Schwenke, Lord Mayor of Offenbach am Main, focused on the innovative strength and long-term strategy of the city of Offenbach.

Championing the next generation of entrepreneurs is in keeping with SAMSON's business strategy. The collaboration with startups is an integral part of the corporate strategy. SAMSON has already invested in various new companies in the field of sensor technology, data analysis and artificial neuronal networks. SAMSON itself looks back on a successful history of almost 120 years since it was founded based on the technical innovations of its founder.

The combined principles of tradition, focus on innovation and responsibility towards future generations are at the heart of the company's involvement in the regional entrepreneur award.

The award ceremony will also be held in Offenbach. This is particularly significant for SAMSON since it is currently relocating its headquarters to Offenbach. This project is the largest innovation venture ever undertaken in the history of SAMSON and shows its commitment to the region.
