SAM VALVE MANAGEMENT is a web-based solution for the smart monitoring and management of control valves installed in process plants. It provides a complete overview of all connected control valves fitted with smart SAMSON positioners, a clearly structured dashboard displaying all relevant operating and diagnostic parameters, immediate detection of malfunctions and algorithm-based predictive maintenance.

All of the control valves must be fitted with a SAMSON digital positioner to be able to capture data for further processing.

Two different methods are available to refresh tag data:

  • File transfer
    Data points generated from common process control systems or TROVIS-VIEW are updated by uploading XML files.
  • Continuous data transmission (on request)
    Data points are constantly updated over suitable communication protocols (such as HART®, PROFIBUS-PA, HART-IP™, WirelessHART®, MQTT).
