Frankfurt am Main/Offenbach, Germany, 9 October 2025 – SAMSON has reached a further important milestone in its factory relocation project: since October 2025, the electronics manufacturing unit has been up and running at the new site in Offenbach am Main.
The relocation of this unit from the current corporate headquarters in Frankfurt am Main to the new facilities ran smoothly and without any disruptions to ongoing manufacturing activities. Machinery and equipment were installed according to plan. Around 200 employees have started working at the new site. All positioners, one of SAMSON's key products, are now completely manufactured at the Offenbach site.
Over the past weeks, the employees working at the new site have had some time to become accustomed with their new workspace. Their initial response has been very positive. Staff appreciate the improved work conditions, modern technical facilities and open, well-lit work environment.
The next stage of the project will follow at the end of November this year when the parts inventory required for electronics manufacturing will be moved to Offenbach. Currently, supplies for production at the new site are still transported there from the headquarters in Frankfurt. As of 1 December 2025, material supplies at the Offenbach site will be fully operative. After this date, the entire positioner manufacturing process from material supplies to final assembly will take place at the new site.
Meanwhile, the remaining construction work is advancing at a fast pace. The completion of the interiors of the neighboring production units is proceeding according to plan. As part of an initiative to boost energy efficiency and sustainability, solar panels are currently being installed on some roofs. Other roof areas are being planted to create green rooftops.
Further accomplishments within the project include the installation of machinery and technical equipment in the new electroplating shop and valve production area. As part of the site relocation, factory machinery is being modernized, which involves replacing 40 % of all equipment. The new machinery will lay the foundations for better efficiency and future-proof manufacturing operations.
Since the relocation of the electronics manufacturing unit has been completed, the focus has now turned to machining operations. In the next few weeks, the first CNC machines for precision machining as well as Swiss-type automatic lathes for machining complex parts will be moved to the Offenbach site. This is the next stage of SAMSON's relocation project to bring all production units together at the new site.
