In combination with the TROVIS I/O add-on module, the TROVIS 5578 Heating and District Heating Controller can be used to control up to four control circuits. Controller operation is intuitive: circuit settings can be selected using a rotary switch and changed using a rotary pushbutton, both conveniently located at the controller front. Times-of-use and set points can be adapted as desired. Access to functions and parameters that are relevant to control operation, however, is protected by a customizable code number. The latest version of the controller can be connected directly to SAM DISTRICT ENERGY without requiring additional hardware.

SAMSON develops and manufactures electric linear actuators for a wide variety of requirements. They are mainly used in industrial processes, HVAC applications as well as in district heating and cooling networks. SAMSON's three-step actuators, electric actuators with positioner or electric actuators with process controller and integrated digital controller require no maintenance, are easy to install and quick to start up. In addition, they are available in a wide variety of configurations (supply voltage, thrust, fail-safe action, transit time etc.). The RS-485 version of the electric actuators with process controller can be connected to the SAM DISTRICT ENERGY platform.

SAMSON has a wide range of products to protect local and district heating systems. Temperature regulators as well as safety temperature monitors and limiters by SAMSON ensure thermostatic protection, which means that they prevent the permissible flow temperatures from being exceeded.
