SAMSON Gets Ready to Comply with New UK Conformity Regulations

|   About SAMSON

UK's departure from the European Union has also left SAMSON facing logistical challenges. Originally, products intended for the British market were to require the new UKCA marking by 1 January 2022. However, this deadline has been extended by one year, meaning UKCA marking will become mandatory as of 1 January 2023. Nevertheless, SAMSON is still working hard to conform with the new marking requirements for the UK.

We decided early on which products we want to sell on the UK market and started the necessary certification process. Our high-quality engineered products are usually approved for the European market (CE marking) by independent testing bodies. Certified products include devices for explosive atmospheres and use in low-voltage installations. These products now require additional testing and certification by an independent body in the UK to be sold on the local market. After certification, the UKCA approval will be marked on the nameplates of our products.

Certification of our products is currently in progress. The UK is an important market for SAMSON. Therefore, you can rely on us to secure the supply chain in good time.
